CMR, Inc. (Cunningham Manufacturers’ Representative) opened its doors in 1994 as a plumbing sales agency for the
southern half of Texas.
CMR was incorporated before having even one interview with a manufacturer. Thus, the company was founded without a single product to sell. Peter Cunningham, the founder, had a vision. This vision, first embedded by Hugh M. Cunnningham, Sr. into the industry, had been lost through the years with Hugh, Sr.’s death in 1984. The establishment of CMR revealed a new promise based on traditional beliefs. Simply put, it is a commitment to strong business ethics, integrity, and service. It is a COMMITMENT TO EXCELLENCE!
To land manufacturers and Customers, Peter and Jeff Miller
(Vice-President), knew that experience was not enough. To be successful, CMR needed the best service, product, price and attitude. It would take superior
performance in all four of these areas to get CMR to the top.
CMR exhibits these traits when an order is received at 4:00pm and it goes out the same day. CMR ‘walks the walk’ when Customers discover that every order receives a personal ‘thank you’ via fax or e-mail - along with a status report. The CMR team comes through when CMR volunteers to drive to the bus depot or job sight to insure that a $25 part gets to the Customer today - because tomorrow is too late.
CMR currently employs 16 people and boasts two large warehouses in San
Antonio and Houston.
